Quality Management

Realizing that the quality of product or service is highly influenced by the quality of processes to develop and maintain them, Nelito has established and follows a documented quality management system in conformance to various requirements of ISO 9001: 2000 and CMMI for Development (Ver 1.2). This quality management system is reviewed and improved on a continuous basis.

The organization follows process approach, wherein: -

Various core/critical processes and their interactions affecting quality of our product and service offerings have been identified. These include processes for management activities; provision of resources; product realization; and measurement, analysis, and improvement.

Criteria and methods required to ensure operation and control of these processes have been determined.



Core/Critical Processes have also been documented and distributed to all concerned across the Company.

Information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these processes is made available to the concerned professionals.



System to monitor, measure and analyze these processes and to implement preventive and corrective actions to achieve planned results and continual improvement has been established.


Quality Policy

We maintain consistent high quality level in whatever we do. Quality Assurance both at product and process levels is given a key importance at Nelito.

Nelito's Quality policy is:

“To earnestly strive for customer satisfaction
by meeting specified requirements and schedules.”

This policy is implemented by providing customers with products and services to a level of quality that consistently conforms to contractual obligations including delivery schedule, fitness for use and statutory requirements.

Nelito achieves this by excellence, through: -

•  People participation and development
•  Process improvement on a continuous basis
•  Productivity enhancement by waste elimination
•  Profit sustenance by cost competitiveness

This policy applies to all aspects of business life of the Company including human resources, finance, infrastructure, and administration.

In addition to the Nelito Quality Policy, all software professionals and training professionals are also guided by the process area-wise Quality Policies.

 
Quality Certifications

The Company’s capability to “design, develop, and implement IT solutions” has been certified under provisions of ISO 9001: 2000 by TUV South Asia.

Our software processes have also been appraised to be operating at CMMI-Dev maturity level 3 by Concept QA Labs.

The Company is further improving its software processes and is aiming for CMMI Maturity Level 5 appraisal by Mar-08.

In recognition of its pursuit for quality, Nelito also bagged the following awards: -



“Systems, Processes, & Infrastructure Partner Award 2005” from Infosys Technologies


“International Quality Crown Award” in December 2005 from Business Initiative Directions, Madrid


“International Quality Summit Award (IQSA) in Platinum Category” in May 2006 from Business Initiative Directions, Madrid
