Application Development

It is one of the niche business areas of Nelito. Nelito has been the chosen partner to major Banks like Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Nainital Bank, several Regional Rural Banks etc., for awarding Project Works. Nelito pioneered in undertaking project works for Payment Solutions and other Banking areas. The projects include:-




Development of interface software between Banks’ legacy systems and Transaction Switches (Base 24 / Narada)
Development of Interface to Debit Card Solutions and ATMs
Development of message based soft switch for ATM connectivity for smaller banks

Designed Micro Finance solution to integrate with RCDS. This project was undertaken jointly with Microsoft and IIIT-B


Application Testing

Association with Banking industry for over a decade adequately helped Nelito to position itself as one of the leading testing entities for the Banks. The repository at Nelito is very comprehensive to cover over 8,500 test scenarios/test cases.

Nelito has carried out user acceptance testing for several application software including Core Banking Solution at leading Banks. The current project on hand includes UAT for leading Public Sector Bank for over 10 software applications viz., Core Banking Solution, ALM, AML, CRM, Budgeting & Forecasting, Credit Appraisal, etc., Nelito has on board over 20 senior banking professionals to steer the product development, testing and software project divisions.

Nelito’s resources possess rich experience in testing multiple core banking solutions including Finacle, FNS, I-flex, etc.

Nelito’s aim is to assist clients in realizing their strategic and corporate goals through rapid implementation methodology management. For over a decade, Nelito has been on the forefront in undertaking information technology projects across the country for various clients in BFSI segment. The Project Management Service Division (PMSD) of Nelito comprises of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and professionals with PMP, QPMP and CISA certifications. All the professionals possess rich Banking and Finance domain knowledge on account of their association with leading Banks in the country in executing multiple and concurrent projects.

Since 1995, Nelito has successfully delivered information technology projects for the Nationalised Banks and Rural Banks and it has been able to reach the remotest service outlets of our clients through our nation-wide presence from over 93 locations. It has also provided End User Training to over 14,000 users of banks covering over 700 batches. Product Maintenance

We have implemented banking application software (in-house developed products) in more than 6,000 sites of different customers viz., Nationalised banks, regional rural banks, DCCBs, cooperative banks, private banks and foreign banks. Large support network enables us to handle multiple projects for a single client concurrently.

Nelito has created an industry record of implementing Total Branch Automation Software in Bank of Baroda and its 19 Regional Rural Banks in over 1,800 branches in a short span of 8 calendar months. As of now, the installations in BOB and its RRBs stand over 2,300.

Maintenance support services offered by us are of two types viz., annual maintenance contracts with existing clients and third party maintenance. We support all types of hardware equipment, software and networking solutions. Many of the organizations / corporate houses in recognition of our expertise, have entrusted us with the task of providing maintenance support for their equipment supplied by other vendors. We render support to more than 6,000 site offices of various clients through our support centers.

Customer’s happiness resulted in repeat business in the last 2/3 years.

Further, based on the concentration of equipment and logistic needs, we also outsource the services of our engineers at the customer premises. Some of the customers who have availed of this service include Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, Tata Steel etc., We have gained more than 1,500 man years experience in maintaining hardware and software systems.
